"Living with Ghosts" is hosted by Hollow Hill, the ghost hunting website.
Our staff is located all over the U.S., but mostly in Texas and New England. This website was started by Fiona Broome, the founder and lead researcher at Hollow Hill, as a resource for people who are living with ghosts or interested in true and 'everyday' ghost stories.
This site has become so popular, in 2008, we decided to publish a book with the best stories submitted to us. If you'd like your story to appear in our upcoming book, please let us know.
My name is Fiona Broome. All of my life, I've been a ghost hunter. During my childhood, I was fascinated by radio interviews with Edward Rowe Snow, and visited as many "haunted" sites as I could.
When I went to college, I had my first no-doubt-about-it encounter with a ghost. Later, I lived in a very haunted house. Finally, in the 1990s, I became a professional ghost hunter and began sharing my research online.
With other ghost researchers, I maintain a popular website about ghost hunting, Hollow Hill.
Now, with the help of others who share their true stories, I've started this website: Living with Ghosts.
There are dozens of other websites that describe one-time encounters with ghosts. Even more focus on fictional "ghost stories."
At this website, we're featuring true stories by people who've actually lived with ghosts.
This includes people who live (or have lived) in haunted houses, as well as individuals whose lives have brought them in contact with the same ghost more than once.
Unless someone moved in and out of a haunted house very suddenly, not one of our stories are just one-time ghost encounters.
These are true stories about coping with hauntings, and finding ways to live with ghosts... or deciding to move away from them.
